Minutes of TRAC Club meeting at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 13th, 2005, at the Wort Hotel Refreshment Room

 

Present:

David Dean, W7OID – President

Charles Burd, K7ZOO – Vice president

Bill Rinker, NE9Z – Secretary/Treasurer

 

Red Cross office was not available for the meeting.  Tony Lakis, the Red Cross Program Specialist for Health & Safety was teaching an evening CPR course so we had to QSY to the Wort Hotel for the meeting.

 

Discussions:

1.)     Charles Burd, K7ZOO, gave a summary of money available for WIMU 2006.

A.)    Seed money to date:  $2,250.00.

a.)      $1,500.00 from previous WIMUs

b.)         $250.00 from Casper Ham Radio Club

c.)         $500.00 Individual contributions (Five Hams)

B.)    Pre-registration to date(Four Hams @ $44.00 each):

a.)            $176.00

C.)    Additional contributions pledged:

a.)      $900.00 total from four Utah Clubs & another Wyoming Club.

 

2.)     The TRAC Club Annual Dues are due January 15th for the year 2006 at $20.00 /member.  This is per Paragraph four (4) of the TRAC By-Laws. 

 

3.)     The Club’s request to attain Non-Profit status has been put on hold until further notice.
