TETON RADIO AMATEUR CLUB

 

Minutes of TRAC meeting at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, October 12th, 2005, at the Wort Hotel Refreshment Room. 

 

Present:

Charles Burd, K7ZOO – Vice President

Discussions:

1.)     Make available to Charles & Bill the combination to the lock on the Red Cross Office Door.  K7ZOO can’t remember the combination.  We had to QSY to the WORT Hotel for the meeting.

2.)     WIMU2006 – Charles, K7ZOO, Executive Director for WIMU2006 gave a summary of plans, budget and donations (Seed money from past WIMUs + Ham Clubs and individual Ham contributions).  Charles also summarized the agenda, forums (both Ham Radio & non Ham Radio forums), keynote speakers, flea market, commercial radio equipment vendors and other activities available in the valley.  Based on inputs to Charles from several past WIMU committee participants from the four-state area an estimate of attendance was stated.  

3.)     Adding the donation from Curt Clauson of $100.00 at the meeting the total WIMU2006 funds are up to $1,900.00 in the WIMU2006 account at Bank of Jackson Hole.  There is more coming.  Thanks to all previous personal donations.

 

NOTE:  All TRAC & RACES/ARES members are encouraged to check-in to the Monday night nets on the 146.910/146.310 County Races Repeater as follows:

 

·         8:15 PM Races/Ares Net – For Check-ins for emergency or priority traffic and later comments pertaining to RACES/ARES.

·         8:30 PM TRAC Club Net – For check-ins and comments from all club members.  All Ham visitors in the valley are also encouraged to also check in.
