Minutes of TRAC meeting, Wednesday, June 8th, at the Red Cross office on Gil Avenue.

Discussions:
1.)  Duran, W7AJK, presented Races information obtained from the Wyoming State Casper Hamfest during Labor Day weekend. 
    a.)  Brochure for ordering Races Jackets & Hats with TRAC logo etc. if the club is interested.
    b.)  Activity Grid by W0ILP
    c.)  Web site for additional RACES info -www.wyomingraces.org.
 
2.)  Duran also passed out copies (obtained at the Casper Hamfest) concerning the JHAARC announcement of their club's hamfest during the 1st weekend in August this year at the Old Coulter Elementary School on North Jean Street.  Best wishes & success to JHAARC. 
 
3.)  A RACES /RED CROSS discussion with Tony Laskis, Program Specialist, Health & Safety, concerning Team responsibilities & functions during County & State Emergencies.
 
4.)  An ARES/RACES State Wide drill was planned for Saturday, June 11th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.  The Drill was very informative, especially as to TRAC always being prepared with definite plans & contingencies.
 
5.)  TRAC continuing ARES/RACES classes for anyone interested are being planned for Saturday classes.  Dates to be announced later.  The classes will be entitled EMCOMM, Level 1.
 
4.)  Field Day.  The Club will again run category 3F-WY at the Comm Trailer & Incident Command trailer with three stations; SSB, PSK & CW.  Band pass filters will be used to minimize cross band interference. 
 
5.)  WIMU - Charles Burd, K7ZOO, was nominated & voted to be Committee Chairman for the TRAC sponsored WIMU Hamfest to be scheduled for the 1st weekend of August in 2006.  The Club will send in our application to ARRL and Rev Morton, WS7W, will approve & grant permission after receiving permission from ARRL.
 
6.)  Club QSL cards will be ordered from the Bulgarian QSL card printer.  Charles, K7ZOO, will send them an appropriate Jackson Hole photo.
