TETON RADIO AMATEUR CLUB
 
Minutes of TRAC meeting, Wednesday, May 11th, at the Red Cross Office on Gill Avenue.
 
Present:
David Dean, W7OID, President

Discussions:
1.) Installation of NEW Snow King Repeater (146.910/146.310)
 
* Current road conditions on the back road to the summit of Snow King is not acceptable to drive up,  plus we had more snow.  Best estimate is early June for installation.
 
* P/L tone will be 123 HZ.
 
2.) The ARES/RACES statewide emergency drill is still planned for June 11th.  This info is on Charles Burd's Red Giant web page for the club.  http://www.redgiant.org/
 
3.) David announced that TRAC is now affiliated with ARRL.
 
4.) The club will run periodic articles in the local news papers & on radio stations listing Club meetings & events.
 
5.) The club is looking at several European QSL card printing web sites to order full color double sided QSL cards.  The printers  are in Germany, Czech Republic & Bulgaria.  Charles is reviewing the sites for appropriate quality & price.
 
6.) Depending on the need & circumstances, the club may initiate Ham Radio theory classes & license testing using ARRL DVDs & Video cassettes where required.
 
7.) Club Checking account.  Bank balance is $127.35.  This includes the deduction of $12.65 for blank checks.
