Minutes of TRAC meeting, Wednesday, April
13th, at the Red Cross Office on Gill Avenue.

Discussions:
1.) Snow King Repeater (146.910/146.310)
* The County approved, ordered and
received the new Kenwood Repeater, Amplifier & Power Supply. David
had it on display at the meeting, with all components mounted in the
metal housing enclosure/brackets, ready for installation on Snow King.
* It will be installed ASAP, depending on
weather & road condition of back road to Snow King summit.
* The P/L tone will be 123 HZ.
2.) There will be a Statewide
ARES/RACES drill or exercise on June 11th. More info later.
3.) The purchase of Pocket Pagers is
being considered to be used for immediate alert in the event of an
emergency and the ARES/RACES group is activated by the county.
4.) The Club is considering attaining a
N0N-PROFIT status in order to become a recipient of Community Foundation
Funds.
5.) Field Day: CORRECTION
- FD will be June 25th & 26th, not the 26th & 27th as
mentioned by me in the meeting.
* The Club will again enter as Class F (E.O.C.)
in the Comm Trailer and the adjoining ICT Trailer.
* Band Pass Filters will be used to
minimize cross band interference.
6.) W7RAC QSL Cards will be ordered for
Field Day and DX contact confirmations.
7.) Jim, WA7IFX, advised that the
Bulletin Board at the Visitor's Center is available for posting TRAC
schedules, events, meetings, etc.
8.) For those interested, Red Cross
will provide CPR & other First Aid courses.
9.) Club Dues: The Club now has
$120.00 in a Checking Account at the Bank of Jackson Hole.

THE BARBER SHOP.
