TETON RADIO AMATEUR CLUB
Minutes of TRAC meeting March 9th at the Incidence Command Trailer on Wednesday, March 9th, 2005.

DISCUSSIONS:
1.) Snow King Repeater (146.910/146.310)
* The shipment of parts to fix the current old repeater and a newer used repeater (same model as the current repeater) was never received from California; therefore, the order was cancelled.
* Bill Neperud, Teton County EM Coordinator, will order a brand new Kenwood repeater.
2.) A new Wyoming State Wide Ares/Races officer has been appointed. Tom Dodson, KF7VR, Cheyenne, has been appointed the new State Wide Ares/Races Officer effective June 11th, 2005.
3.) Year 2005 Continuing Education for Ares/Races members is available.
4.) When the time is appropriate in the future, TRAC will conduct licensing exams sessions and theory classroom teaching. All the necessary VE testing forms CW tapes & classroom teaching CDs will be ordered from ARRL at the appropriate time.
5.) Both JAC & REX will have both a packet node 146.010 MHZ and APRS node 144.390 MHZ by end of summer.
6.) Ed Kuhlman, WB7FIU, Dubois DUB Node trustee advises that the Windy Ridge Node DUB will be up and running by end of summer and that the frequency will be converted to APRS 146.390 MHZ. He also advises that the Dubois repeater 146.820/146/220 MHZ is now up and running. A PL tone of 100 HZ is required for access.
7.) Wayne Mills, N7NG, will be in Jackson April 21st. The Club will discuss with Wayne the possibility of TRAC sponsoring a WIMU convention for 2006 in Jackson Hole.
8.) Steve, KB7ITU, of Rexburg, ID, advises that for those interested he will have a Wednesday night Races/Ares Packet Net at 7:00 PM via JAC & REX.
9.) The Comm trailer Computer/TNC is now set up for those needing to digipeat. Hopefully it will improve Dennis's, KS7WY-11, APRS IGATE digipeater path to JAC.
10.) Club Dues. The following have paid their 2005 $20.00 annual TRAC Club dues:

A Club bank account will be opened next week.
11.) FOR A MORE CENTRAL MEETING LOCATION, ALL SUBSEQUENT MEETINGS OF TRAC WILL BE HELD IN THE RED CROSS BUILDING ON GILL AVENUE ABOVE THE TETON BARBER SHOP.
